Manage kitchen operations, lead team members, and maintain high food quality standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The Torchy's legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef and a food trailer to now operating in dozens of locations across multiple states. Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage food costs, place orders, update pricing, and complete inventories
  
• Select, interview, and hire kitchen team members to ensure proper staffing levels
  
• Create kitchen team member schedules to hit labor targets that support sales projections
  
• Verify that kitchen team members follow recipes, weigh prepped items, record production numbers, and portion servings correctly
  
• Utilize feedback to develop action plans for improving operations and food quality
  
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide direction
  
• Motivate and lead team members to support our values
  
• Run shifts and support daily store operations
  
• Partner with the learning and development team to ensure team members are properly trained and certified
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
    
  • State alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification
    
  • High-level understanding of training and development concepts
    
  • Ability to foster teamwork and leadership skills
    
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
    
  • Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
