These initiatives are specifically designed to ensure regulatory compliance, protect reputation, limit liability, prevent operational disruptions, build ops reliability/resilience, and ultimately, protect life, environment, and property. Initiatives consist of some, but not all the following items.Roles/Responsibilities:

• Perform regulatory vessel surveys and Cat 3 vessel SIREs
• Complete third-party marine terminal inspections and barge fleet assessments.
• Conduct vessel and management TSMS Audits
• Monitor and analyze risk/performance trends -
• Support internal TMSA
• Conduct Third Party Vessel Operator Management Audits
• Perform Third Party Operator, Vessel and Fleet vetting.
• Support marine casualty investigations
• Serves as a marine consultant to internal stakeholders
• Facilitate and support safety practices/risk assessments and Management of Change
• Liaison with Coast Guard, ABS, and other stakeholders on compliance and assurance matters.Experience:
  • Individual must have a previous survey, inspection, and/or audit experience, and 5 years of related terminal or vessel operations experience.
  • Prior Coast Guard marine inspection and operational experience or industry credentialed/operational experience will be considered. Merchant mariners with previous surveying and auditing experience are encouraged to apply.Requirement:
    • High school diploma or GED. A college diploma is preferred but not required.
    • Valid driver's license and TWIC.
    • Travel requirement is 20-50%.
