Plant Safety Administrator Houston, Texas
As our Plant Safety Administrator, you will champion company safety and health programs at the local facility. This entails investigating accidents, implementing OSHA compliance, administering a plant Emergency Organization, supervising the plant Safety Steering Committee, and ensuring plant personnel are trained in basic first aid. Additionally, you will monitor fire-protection programs, develop a job-safety analysis program, monitor workers? compensation costs, and ensure worker compliance with industrial hygiene practices.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor?s degree in Safety or Engineering, or possess the equivalent experience in a production environment, in addition to 3 to 5 years of hands-on safety experience. First-responder and/or first-aid experience is preferred. This is a second-shift position.
