Job SummaryThis role involves performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create detailed images of body parts. The goal is to detect abnormalities and make accurate diagnoses. The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists to provide high-quality patient care.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI exams, explain procedures and administer contrast when necessary.
• Position patients for the MRI scanner, select appropriate imaging techniques and ensure technical quality of scans.
• Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and matrix camera.
• Identify and report accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions to department management.
• Provide safe care to patients, staff and visitors, adhering to Memorial Hermann policies and procedures.
• Promote professional growth and development by meeting mandatory education requirements.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
