The Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC) was created
by the 86th Texas Legislature to leverage the expertise and
capacity of the health-related institutions of higher education to
address urgent mental health challenges and improve the mental
health care system in this state in relation to children and
adolescents. As a proud member of TCHMCC, Texas A&M Health
Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is looking for
Project Coordinators to help us fulfill this mission.
What we want
The Project Coordinator II supervises, coordinates, and assists
with the development and coordination of projects related to the
Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCHMCC), including, but
not limited, to the Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and the
Perinatal Psychiatry Access Network (PeriPAN). This position will
conduct outreach and engagement with stakeholders (primary care
providers (PCPs) and obstetric providers (OBs), and schools),
throughout our 19-county coverage area, to inform them of the
program(s) and to help increase enrollment and utilization of the
program(s). Outreach and engagement is to be conducted though
different mediums such as in person visits, phone calls, emails,
etc. The Project Coordinator II assists the Project Manager in
determining and coordinating project needs related to the
program(s) and assists with carrying out implementation; manages
and distributes promotional items to stakeholders; assists in
managing our extensive referral data base, data provided by Trayt
system and within our internal records, upkeeping provider/clinic
information in Trayt system, and training new employees, attends
and participates in meetings and presentations as scheduled; may
assist with CPAN/PeriPAN phone coverage. This position assists with
reporting efforts and helps to ensure that we are meeting project
goals.
What you need to know
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's
experience.

Travel: Travel to enrolled and unenrolled clinics for meetings,
presentations, and outreach efforts.
Other Factors: Depending upon the nature of your position, you may
be required to receive immunizations (excluding COVID and Flu).

be contingent upon future funding.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of
education or experience
Four years of related experience in project
coordination/administration
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within telehealth or a related field
Experience working with primary care physicians
Strong oral and written communication skills
Literacy and competency with utilizing technology
Strong organizational skills and flexibility
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
Knowledge of standard proofreading
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet
deadlines
Responsibilities
Project Needs: Conducts outreach and engagement with stakeholders
throughout our 19-county coverage area, to inform them of the
program(s) and to help increase enrollment and utilization of the
program(s). Determines project needs related to communication,
referral, management of records, and coordination of services.
Develops and assesses project activities including communication,
referral, management of records, and coordination of services.
Coordinates the purchase and installation and implementation of new
project needs. Coordinates project activities including project
initiation, value assessments, work plan development, estimating,
and project controls. Coordinates with vendors and others in
delivering and supporting systems and services.
Reporting: Prepares and disseminates reports and other related
information to key stakeholders. Monitors and prepares reports on
financial activity for assigned projects related to travel and
project purchases. Prepares forecasting and progress reporting
against milestones, budgetary updates, and the change management
process for review.
Compliance: Ensures compliance with applicable regulations
including HIPAA and FERPA. Assists with forecasting and progress

management process. Maintains database integrity, security, and
accuracy in documenting. Ensures compliance with applicable
regulations. Interprets policies, rules, and regulations and
ensures they are followed.
